COLLAB CULTURE
:
OUR MISSION
Mission statement
Increase accessibility to college essay reviewing, college application advising, and peer mentorship for
First-generation and low-income students
Students who cannot afford private college counseling or SAT prep
Students working part-time jobs to financially support their families
Students who experience systemic barriers to pursuing higher education, whether socioeconomic or racial
Students with other extenuating personal or financial circumstances
Promote culture of collaboration through empathetic advising, with the understanding that individuals’ academic plans are not solely prestige-based and revolve around many other personal, cultural, and economic influences. We believe mentorship should be accessible to everyone and strive to eliminate the barrier of finding connections or networking opportunities that allow for development of peer mentorships.
