May
Public Health, Brown University ‘21.
Duke University School of Medicine ‘26.
Hi, I’m May! You might know me from YouTube (watch my College Advice or Medical School Application Guide playlists). Check out the About page if you’d like to learn more about why I founded Collab Culture. I also co-founded CollegeSide Chats, a series of 22 college panels (hosted by current students) to provide prospective students an inside look at each university.
In undergrad, I was the Coordinator of Brown Science Prep, a STEM education program serving high schoolers in Rhode Island. I also served as a mentor for Women in Science and Engineering and published research within CT surgery and mindfulness.
Thank you for trusting me to help you on your journey to higher education! It’s truly been my pleasure. :-) Don’t hesitate to reach out: collabadvising@gmail.com

Mona
Computational & Systems Biology, UCLA.
Hey! My name's Mona, and I'm a third year Computational & Systems Biology major at UCLA. On campus, I'm involved in neuroscience research, healthcare consulting, and Asian American Pacific Islander Desi American advocacy work. I grew up in the Bay Area and moved to LA for college, so I love the beach, sunsets, and sustainability. As a premed dropout, I've definitely had my fair share of existential crises about my life choices and career goals, so I'm always down to talk about the unknowns of our futures! I've also worked as an Applications Consultant for CollegeVine and recently became a Matriculate Advising fellow, and I'm passionate about expanding the accessibility of higher education. I'm incredibly honored by your trust and super excited to help you on your journey!
Anuva
Bachelors & MS in Narrative Medicine at USC ‘21. Keck School of Medicine ‘25.
Hi, I’m Anuva, and I am a second year medical student at Keck! I graduated in May 2021 from USC with a Bachelor’s in Health Promotion & Disease Prevention and a Master’s in Narrative Medicine.
Mentorship was a focal part of my undergraduate experience and also served as a major driving force for my interest in medicine. In college, I was a health educator for Peer Health Exchange, a college-prep mentor for underserved high school students, a mentor for high school students through CollegeVine, and a TA for pre-med physics for USC students.
I acknowledge that my path to medical school was shaped by older and experienced friends and peer mentors and understand the importance of paying forward similar guidance. This application process is intimidating, but I have no doubt we’ll successfully work through it together!
Daniel
Biochemistry & Public Health (double concentration), Brown University. Pre-medicine.
Hi! I’m Daniel, and I’m a junior at Brown double concentrating in biochemistry and public health (it’s important to learn about health on both a molecular and societal level!). Outside of the classroom, I’m involved in patient advocacy, design and health, peer advising, and neuro-oncology research. Being a native San Franciscan, I’m also a boba and sourdough diehard who loves anything related to food and cooking. As a first-gen college student myself, I’m passionate about making higher education accessible to students from all backgrounds, so I’m really excited to help make a difference through Collab Culture!
Alex
Psychology, Harvard College ‘21.
UCSF School of Medicine ‘26.
Hello! My name is Alex, and I’m a junior studying Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Neuroscience & Evolutionary Psychology at Harvard College! Aside from doing pre-med things, I love watching sunsets, playing sports, and hanging out with friends. If you want to talk about your essays, I’m here for that (of course). Your extracurriculars? Yup! Sports? You bet. Life? Why not?! I’m not where I’m at without people who have generously given their time to lend a hand, and I’m pumped to be able to pass this “Collab Culture” along through helping you! Let’s get started!
